NEET exam paper leak case reaches High Court, demand for CBI investigation; Appeal to cancel the exam
NEET exam paper leak case has reached Patna High Court. A public interest litigation has been filed in the High Court demanding a CBI investigation into the paper leak. An appeal has also been made to cancel the examination.
The matter of paper leak of NEET UG examination for admission to MBBS has reached Patna High Court. An application has been filed in the High Court to get the paper leak investigated by CBI and the examination should be canceled and the examination conducted afresh. It has been said in the application that because of a handful of people, the future of lakhs of students of the country is at stake. No one has the right to play with the future of students. Strict action should be taken against those who waste years of hard work. It has been requested in the application that the question paper leak case should be investigated by CBI.
Advocate Vishal Saurabh has filed a PIL on behalf of High Court lawyer Sujit Kumar Sinha. It has been said in the application that the police is investigating the question paper leak incident by registering case number 358/24 in Shastri Nagar police station of Patna and till now 13 people have been arrested and jailed. The future of lakhs of students is being ruined due to question paper leak. This entire episode should be investigated by CBI so that the culprits can be identified and punished. Also, a request has been made to the court to cancel the NEET exam and conduct a fresh exam.

New Delhi (NEET UG Result 2024). More than 24 lakh candidates had registered for NTA NEET UG exam. Exam centers were set up in the country and abroad for the NEET UG exam on May 05, 2024. There is a possibility of paper leak in the National Medical Entrance Examination this year. Lakhs of 12th pass candidates had given this exam in the hope of getting admission in medical college. The PIL regarding NEET paper leak case has reached the Supreme Court.
In this matter, the Supreme Court has sought answers from both the Central Government and the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Supreme Court will give the final decision on this matter after the summer holidays i.e. in July. NEET UG exam is included in the biggest examinations of the country. NEET UG Result 2024: When will UG result come?
NEET UG result will be released on June 14, 2024 as per the pre-determined schedule of NTA. Latest updates related to NEET UG exam and result can be checked on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/neet. At present, the Supreme Court has refused to put a stay on the NEET UG Result 2024. Of course, the hearing of this case will be held in July, but the result of the examination which was conducted in May, will be released as per the schedule made earlier.
NEET UG 2024: Will NEET UG exam be held again?
NEET UG 2024 is continuously trending on social media. A large number of candidates are expressing their anger over the leak of NEET UG paper. Many candidates are also demanding re-conducting of NEET UG examination. NTA has not given any update on this. While giving information about the NEET UG paper leak case, the National Testing Agency had said that such a case had come to light from a center located in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. But no complaint has been received from any other centre.
